How the 2021 EU VAT Laws Affect LED Queens Customers in the EU

Dear LED Queens EU Customer,

As you may have learned by now, the European Union put into effect new e-commerce tax laws on July 1 of this year. These new laws affect you directly. Here's what you need to know:

• When you purchase any products from LEDQueens.com, you will have to pay VAT, even if the product is fulfilled from inside the EU.
• This new change affects all companies that do business with EU countries. In other words, if you are used to buying products from American stores like mine, you can expect to see VAT charges at checkout.
• This change affects citizens and residents in all EU member countries.

I'm emailing you today to make sure you are not caught by surprise on your next LED Queens purchase. I also understand that you may feel frustrated by these new laws. I am aware that from this point forward, LED Queens products may feel more expensive to you (once you add up the retail cost of the products, plus shipping and VAT). I always aim to make the LED Queens retail prices as competitive as possible, but I cannot change these international laws. If you want to effect change to the laws, please consider writing to the lawmakers and government officials  in your country of residence to change the laws from the top down.
