AI is a powerful tool, but not in the way many people think. It’s not replacing my creativity—it’s enhancing and supporting it. Here’s how I’ve been integrating AI into my work:
Creative Exploration: I use Midjourney to generate ideas for storytelling, fashion design, photography, and select product designs for LED Queens. I use the paid version of the service, and though it’s still very imperfect, I get a ton of value from it.
Writing, Marketing & E-Commerce: I tailor ChatGPT prompts for business strategy, book marketing, and online sales growth.
Personal Coaching Needs: I engage ChatGPT as a bodybuilding and gaming coach. You got that right. ChatGPT helps me write my bodybuilding training and nutrition templates. And in my leisure time, ChatGPT and DeepSeek are my gaming companions. They help me navigate and better explore large open worlds in complex games like Elden Ring, Stardew Valley, and The Witcher 3.
Creative Partner, Not a Creator: AI assists me in brainstorming and prototyping, but final outputs always receive my human touch. That’s why AI feels like a collaborator, not a machine.
A huge misconception is that AI can do everything better than humans. It doesn’t. But it’s evolving—like a plant growing in new directions. I’ve embraced being an early adopter, and I aim to help other queerpreneurs and POC entrepreneurs do the same, without fear.
After taking a major step back from my art and my business to prioritize family in 2024, I now have more room in 2025 to execute on my artistic and entrepreneurial priorities. I’m thrilled to share some of my upcoming projects and business shifts:
Hall of Mirrors: I’m currently preparing this novel for paperback release. While there’s no set date yet, I’ll keep you updated on its progress.
LED Queens Evolution: We’re undergoing significant changes to adapt to the evolving landscape:
E-Commerce Optimization: Enhancing our supply chains to anticipate changes in tariffs, shipping fees, and potential impacts from the new Trump administration.
Marketing Strategy: Shifting focus away from oversaturated platforms like Instagram. We’re investing in:
Website Content: Developing rich, engaging content directly on our site.
SMS Outreach: Strengthening direct communication with our community.
Bluesky Platform: Exploring new social spaces to connect with our audience.
Live Events: Planning in-person experiences to engage with you directly.
TikTok Hiatus: Taking a strategic break from TikTok to assess its future amid a potential ban. The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear arguments regarding the app's future on January 10, 2025, with a potential ban looming if its Chinese parent company doesn't divest (AP News)
Product Expansion: Developing new tights, swimwear, and underwear, focusing on queer customers who love gym culture and fitness. We remain dedicated to our niche and have no plans to be "all things to all people."
A Secret Project: I am writing a brand-new book of fiction, and this time it’s more experimental than my previous works. This book blends the erotic and transgressive elements of How to Kill a Superhero with more mystical and humanistic themes of 13 Secret Cities. This book marks a true evolution in my life as an artist, and for those reasons, I am developing it as a closed beta so that I don’t compromise the book’s artistic integrity. And yes, this book features the interdimensional intervention by Aztec gods yet again.
If these insights and updates resonate with you, stick around. And if not, no worries—I appreciate you giving it a shot.
Keep it queer.
