LED Queens Performance Spandex
RealGrip is the performance fabric used across the entire LED Queens catalog. It has a firm, structured hand—closer to what you'd feel in serious athletic gear than in standard athleisure. It holds its shape under load, moves with you through full range of motion, and doesn't loosen up mid-session.
If you've worn spandex gear that felt soft and drapey, RealGrip feels different. That's intentional.
What RealGrip does
- Holds its shape — firm hand that stays tight to the body through every rep
- Four-way stretch — moves on the cross and lengthwise grain without pulling or binding
- Fully opaque — does not go transparent during squats, lunges, or any movement
- Sharp prints — dye sublimation on RealGrip produces deeper, more vivid color with significantly less ghosting
- Moisture-wicking and quick-dry — pulls sweat away fast
- UPF 50+ — blocks 98% of UV rays
Fabric specs
75% recycled polyester, 25% elastane (US and Mexico fulfillment) · 82% polyester, 18% elastane (Latvia fulfillment). Fabric weight: 225–230 g/m². Overlock and coverstitch construction. Printed, cut, and hand-sewn by our production team.
About the fabric change
LED Queens moved to RealGrip in 2026. We changed manufacturing partners and updated the fabric at the same time. Customers had been asking for more structure and support in the gym—RealGrip is the answer to that. The previous fabric is no longer available.
