Trunks vs. Speedos: Know the Difference
Share

To know wrestling and lucha libre is to know spandex trunks.
Wrestling trunks and Speedos are not the same garment. Both are minimal. Both are spandex. But they come from completely different DNA and they do completely different things to the body wearing them.
A Speedo was built for water — light fabric, modest cut, designed for drag reduction and beach culture. Wrestling trunks were built for the ring and the back row. The waistband sits high, elongating the torso and creating that unmistakable V-taper on a muscular frame. The leg opening cuts aggressively at the hip. The fabric is heavier, lined in front, built for contact and confrontation. Put them on and your mindset shifts. You're not at the beach anymore.
At LED Queens we make butcher singlets for the studs and baddies who already understands this. Wrestling trunks aren't in our catalog yet — but if that's something you want, we want to know.
