How We Use AI-Generated Models in Our Product Photos (and What That Means for You)

The world is changing, and LED Queens has always been on the forefront of innovation. But with this evolution, transparency is also needed. This year you’ll see some product photos with AI-generated models on our site. We’re doing this to show you new designs faster and more consistently. The tights themselves are very real—designed, produced, and shipped by us.

Why we’re doing this

LED Queens is a queer, independent brand that experiments. AI lets us create clear, consistent images quickly so you can preview drops and compare colorways and side stripes without waiting for a full photo shoot. We are a small business, and these new automation-augmented processes permit us to work smarter, not harder. As a result, we can bring you more new products than before.

How we keep this honest

  • We add a label to product pages that feature AI-generated models

  • We avoid using the likeness of real people without consent

  • If an AI image could differ slightly from real-world color/texture, we say so—and we back it up with our returns/exchanges policy. 

Representation matters

LED Queens is about gender-expansive energy and showcasing diversity. We’re working toward a range of bodies and shapes  in our visuals—AI or human. This means we can now offer a wider range thanks to this new level of automation.
